India: Precautionary dose of Covid-19 vaccine for senior citizens, frontliner and healthcare workers

60+ age group taking precautionary dose of COVID-19 in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. The precaution dose can only be taken after 9 months i.e., 39 weeks from the date of administration of 2nd dose. The "precautionary dose" was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month amid continued demands for booster doses in view of the Omicron threat.
