India: Gajan Festival In Kolkata 2021

Gajan festival is an old folk festival and traditionally celebrated in West Bengal by Hindu community. This festival is mainly celebrated at the end of Bengali Year calendar. Children usually dressed up like mythological God and Goddess named as Bramha, Shiva, Radha, Krishna, Hanumna and so on. Devotees named as 'Gajan Sannyashi' Performs some fire related rituals while chanting the name of God Shiva.
