Commuters take an LRT ride in Santolan Station, Pasig City. After a more than a year of closure due to a fire caused by a rectifier that tripped, Light Railway Transit Authority said that the three LRT-2 Station from Santolan are now ready for commercial ride today after the tests of it's stability and power supply. LRT-2 reminds passengers to allot additional hours in their travel. The travel time from Santolan Station to Recto will take 35 minutes from it's original time of 28 minutes before the fire hit station last October 2019. LRT also reminds their passengers to follow all the safety protocols specially wearing face mask and face shield before taking a ride. LRT-2 are continuing in implementing cashless transaction to avoid the spread of COVID-19.
