Street vendors across Kerala State, (India) are facing severe hardships as continuous heavy rains disrupt daily business. Many vendors, especially those in urban markets and roadside stalls, report a drastic drop in income. Several local markets have become inaccessible due to waterlogging and poor drainage. Vendors without proper shelter are at risk, with many losing stock and equipment to rain damage.
