The Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM) commemorates the centenary of Prof. S.N. Bose's groundbreaking work in Quantum Statistics by launching the audio of his iconic lecture, Science in Vernacular Language. Delivered on May 2, 1960, during BITM's first anniversary, this lecture heralds new horizons for science communication in India and is now a feature of the ongoing exhibition, Brilliance Beyond Borders – Our Triumphs, Trials, Travails, and Trends at the Science Nobels. The event sees the esteemed presence of Dr. Chandrima Shaha, JC Bose Chair Distinguished Professor, NASI, and Dr. Suprakash Ch. Roy, Chairman of the Steering Committee for the National Science & Technology Digital Archive, as Guests of Honour. Subhabrata Chaudhuri, Director of BITM, also attends the launch, reinforcing BITM's commitment to science popularization in India.
