The oldest known inscribed tablet of the Ten Commandments dating to late Roman-Byzantine Era (ca. 300-800 CE) is on display during press preview and to be auctioned as a single lot sale later in December at Sotheby's auction house in New York. This tablet is the only known complete example of its kind. Marble tablet inscribed in Paleo-Hebrew script and was excavated in Southern coast of Israel in 1913 near the sites of early synagogues, churches and mosques.
