India: Inspiring Young Minds at Kolkata's First Science Fair for Underprivileged Students

Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM) celebrates National Children's Day with the inaugural Science Fair for underprivileged students, running from November 13-14, 2024. Sixty creative science models, themed "Science & Technology for Society," are showcased by 120 students from 30 NGOs and 30 schools across nine districts of West Bengal and Jharkhand. Prof. Abhijit Chakrabarti, former Vice Chancellor of Jadavpur University, inaugurates the event, joined by BITM Director Subhabrata Chaudhuri. Hundreds of students and teachers attend, eager to experience the creativity and innovation of these young minds.
