Chasma e Noor Happy Valley waterfall after a long time the waterfall started flowing due to heavy rain in Ajmer, a place built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1615 and christened the place Chashma-i-Nur (spring of light) after his own name, Nur-uddin Mohammad Jahangir. It is said that Emperor Jahangir came here about seventeen times. Apart from the gardens, there was also a pool here, in which Nur Jahan used to bathe with rose petals. It is said that Noor Jahan invented the rose perfume here. It is said that the fragrance of rose had drawn Noor Jahan to Ajmer. The British used to call this place Happy Valley.
