On the occasion of Saints Peter and Paul, who are the patron saints of Rome, every year on 29 June between Via della Conciliazione and Piazza Pio XII the Roman Historical Infiorata takes place, in which over 250 inflorators and volunteers from 8 regions of Italy created religious-themed works of art using carnation stems, chrysanthemums, chips, colored salt, sand, seeds, leaves and dry natural material
