Italy: Installation of Christmas tree in St. Peter's Square

The Christmas tree arrived in St. Peter's Square in Rome this morning. 27 meters high, it weighs 6.5 tons and was donated by the municipality of Macra, in the woods of Cuneo. It will be decorated with lights and over 7,000 dried edelweiss which will give the effect of a snowfall. The lights will be turned on next December 9th
