Hundreds of people dressed in Palestinian flags and banners, are seen on Sunday, November 12, 2023, while participating in a demonstration in solidarity with Palestine, in Madrid (Spain). Meanwhile, this weekend in different European cities thousands of people demonstrated in support of Palestine, to demand that Israel's bombing of the Gaza Strip that began on October 7 stop. The largest demonstration took place in the British capital, with more than 300,000 participants carrying Palestinian flags and posters asking to stop the bombings in the Strip. In Brussels, some 21,000 people, according to the Police, participated in the 'European March for Palestine', to ask the European Union and its member states to demand an immediate ceasefire in the conflict. The protests were joined by thousands of people who also demonstrated in Paris, called by left-wing and extreme-left parties and associations, to demand an immediate ceasefire and an end to the 'massacre' in Gaza and West Bank. So far in November, Israel has entered the north of the Gaza Strip, hitting half of the homes in that territory and a third of the schools with its bombs, in addition to electricity, fuel and water cuts that have plunged hospitals into a situation of total humanitarian crisis. Organizations such as the Red Crescent or Doctors Without Borders are calling on the international community for an immediate and lasting ceasefire to allow humanitarian aid to reach the population.
