As Kashmir valley is heading toward's the winter session, Most of the people from Gurez valley, Which lies in north kashmir's Bandipora district are all set to migrate into safer places, as the valley is about to cut off from the rest of the region. Gurez valley is actually located along the Line of Control (LOC), and often experience heavy snowfall during winter's. As a result, it cuts off from rest of the region. The main reason of the blockade is the closing down of it's only road connectivity that is the razdhan pass. Razdan Pass is said 11,667 ft high mountain pass.
