In 2017, Bely Basarte is chosen by Disney to provide voice for the songs of the film Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson. The 2017 American live-action CGI animated fantasy musical film directed by Bill Condon and written by Evan Spiliotopoulos and Stephen Chbosky grossed more than $1.26 billion worldwide, becoming the thirteenth most successful film of all times and the second in 2017. Disney celebrates its 100 years of history with a concert at the Teatro Real in Madrid with a musical gala under the name 'Disney 100 The Gala'. The great event featured performances by well-known local artists who performed many musical themes from Disney movies. On October 16, 2023 The Walt Disney Company will celebrate 100 years of history.
