Italy's Republic Day has marked the 77th edition of the annual event and has celebrated with a reception organized by the Italian Consulate in Izmir. A large number of Turkish, Italian and foreign diplomats, business people and society have attended the reception in a hotel hosted by Italy's Izmir Consul Valerio Giorgio. Valerio Giorgio, Consul of Italy in Izmir, honorized Pietro Alba, President of Izmir Italy Chamber of Commerce, as Order of the State of the Republic of Italy" Commendatore della stella d'Italia".
