Italy: San Gennaro procession and the "Miracle of May"

San Gennaro performed the miracle: at 17.03 the archbishop of Naples don Mimmo Battaglia announced the liquefaction of the blood of the patron saint of Naples. The miracle expected on the Saturday before the first Sunday in May is accompanied by a procession that starts from the Cathedral and crosses the ancient center of the city, ending in the Basilica of Santa Chiara.
