Oldest man to be crucified in Pampanga

Wilfredo Salvador, 66-year-old is the oldest man who performs the actual crucifixion rites on April 7, 2023 in Pampanga, Philippines. Salvador is a fisherman who has been volunteering to be crucified for 15 years since recovering from a nervous breakdown.  Actual crucifixion ritual in Pampanga is an annual Good Friday observance which was stopped for 3 years due to COVID 19 health restrictions.
