Hundreds of 1199SEIU health care workers staged rally, march to Governor office and sit to block 3rd avenue where some were arrested. The protest featured funeral procession with horse carriage and fake coffins. They protested against health care cuts in Governor Kathy Hochul’s budget on Medicare. They chanted they need money because they underpaid.
