Italy: Castelli Romani - protest against incinerator

Associations, committees and citizens of the Castelli Romani took to the streets to protest against the mega-incinerator (a 600,000-ton per year plant) that the mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, would like to build in Santa Palomba, on the outskirts of the Castelli Romani. The procession, which started from the municipality of Albano Laziale and ended in Ariccia, was also attended by mayors of municipalities in the area, regional and municipal councilors.
