On the occasion of the anniversary of military coup in Argentina which took place on 24 March 1976, the Citizens' Committee "Rome remembers the Desaparecidos Madres and Abuelas" organized a commemoration ceremony to remember drama of the desaparecidos and the victims of dictatorship of General Jorge Videla. Ceremony ended with the lighting of the Gianicolo Lighthouse, built in 1911 thanks to the funds raised by the Italian community of Buenos Aires
