This year Madrid turns to the celebration of Saint Patrick, the great Irish festival that every year brings together thousands and thousands of people in Dublin, Belfast, Cork or Galway to celebrate the great day of the nation. The Irish embassy in Spain dyes the capital green with some activities. Parade of pipers, no less than 300. Its promoter is the master piper Bras Rodrigo, executive coordinator of the St. Patrick's Parade in New York for Europe. With the Guinness beer company as a sponsor -the popular black beer company is another of the national symbols-, the parade began in Plaza Mayor and went through the streets of Bordadores, Carlos III or Plaza del Oriente before ending at the Palace Real.
