Members of the organization "Igualdad Animal" demand the first General Animal Welfare

Luis Salgado

With posters showing the mistreatment and cruelty that millions of animals live with, members of the international organization "Animal Equality", made an act in the Chamber of Deputies to deliver more than 100,000 signatures that they have collected throughout the country, from citizens who support the initiative that seeks to amend the Mexican Constitution so that the Congress of the Union can legislate on animal welfare and protection. In this way, the first General Animal Welfare Law of Mexico will be passed, which will provide legal certainty at the federal level to protect all animals and can be replicated throughout the country.
