Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced today the Union Budget for fiscal year 2023 - 24. In the budget, income tax slab has been revised where no tax to be deducted for salaried income upto 7 lakhs. Mobile phones and Camera are to get cheaper. Custom duty has been reduced to 13 % , cigarette prices to be increased. Railways received Rupees 2.4 lakh crores, the highest in any budget till date according to report.
