India: First Public E-bike Sharing system introduced in Kashmir by Mubashir Hassan
A group of Kashmiri youth associated with "Curve Electric" - A Startup working in micro-mobility; the transport of a futuristic and sustainable civilization set-up Kashmir's first public E-bike Sharing system throughout the City.
Around 200 E-bikes to be bustling streets of Srinagar on a rental basis via 12 docking stations in next week.
Sheikh Yameen, Managing Director & Co founder of ‘Curve Electric’ said "The initiative aims to make e-bikes a substitute of commuting in the city"
"Each passing day, environmental conditions are worsening globally, so we thought of starting eco friendly transport services in valley," said Yamin.
" This project comes under Srinagar Smart City Limited, in the beginning we are allowed to run 200 E-Bikes and in the next few days the E-bikes will be seen plying on the city."
At following locations, docking stations will be available - Islamia College, Dalgate, Botanical Garden, Nishat, Kashmir University, Illahi Bagh, Soura, TRC, Kothi Bagh, Raj Bagh , Sanat Nagar, Bemina among other places.
