Seen various types of waste such as plastic, baby diapers and shampoo sachets scattered in one of the rivers in the city of Malang. Based on data from the Institute for the Study of Ecology and Wetland Conservation (Ecoton), every year there are 8 million tons of plastic waste in Indonesia, especially on the island of Java. Of this amount, 3 million tons can be processed while 5 tons are not managed.
