Pakistani Traditional wrestlers busy in free wrestling (Open Kabaddi) match in wrestling pits(Akhara) during 498th urs celebrations of Pir Ahmed Hasan known as a Mialay Shah in Jandraka city dist Okara some 150km from Lahore on friday April 08,2022. 'Kushti', the traditional wrestling is one of the most popular games in Pakistan. Thousands of years ago when there was no cricket, no hockey, no football, the most enjoyable hobby of the people was wrestling. Even today after the introduction of so many kinds of sporting activities around the world, the sport of wrestling draws more crowds then any other sport because, fighting is a part of human nature. There are different styles of wrestling in the world today but the most famous among them is the Freestyle Wrestling. Pakistan had a great past in traditional wrestling also called as desi kushti. Kushti, an Indo-Pakistani form of wrestling, is several thousand years old and is a national sport in Pakistan.
