Ukraine: Anniversary of Ukrainian Insurgent Army by Alexandr Gusev

The UPA acted mainly in the west of Ukraine until the beginning of the 1950s and had more than 40,000 soldiers in its strongest period. The UPA fought for Ukrainian independence against the Soviet Red Army and the Nazis during the Second World War.
