India bans direct indirect imports from Pakistan

The government of Pakistan-administered Kashmir has started stockpiling two months' worth of additional food supplies for populations residing near the Line of Control in view of a potential wartime situation. This precautionary decision to store food was made due to the escalating tensions between Pakistan and India. India Saturday said it has banned all imports from neighboring Pakistan amid the ongoing tensions between the two South Asian nations since the April 22 Kashmir attack which left 26 people dead, according to a government notification released in New Delhi.
