After washing the thick blanket fabric in hot water, workers lay them out to dry in the sun. In the meantime, when the fabric is slightly wet, they paint different designs on them with their hands, make it colorful and then sundry them to fully set the colors. Thus these colorful rugs are made and then sent to markets for sale. Each of these fabrics is sold at 3 pounds at wholesale markets. The images are taken from Narayanganj, Bangladesh.
