India: Chhath Puja at Yamuna in New Delhi

Chhath is an ancient Hindu festival dedicated to the worship of the Sun God. This festival is very much popular in the state of Bihar or in other words it is the biggest festival of them. In Delhi also Chhath puja was celebrated with full enjoyment. Though ICC World Cup Final Cricket match was there, but still huge crowd was noticed on the Yamuna Ghat. In some places make shift water reservoirs were created where people from Bihar origin offered prayers.
