Mexico: Ana Gabriel celebrates 50 years on stage with a concert in Cancun by Hugo Ortuño
The Mexican singer and songwriter, Ana Gabriel (1955), also known as the 'Moon of America', is seen on stage on Sunday, March 24, 2024, during a concert that is part of his tour 'Un deseo más', at the Beto Avila stadium, in Cancun, Quintana Roo (Mexico). With a prominent career that has spanned 50 years, the artist originally from Guamuchil, Sinaloa (northeast of Mexico), became popular with songs she wrote such as 'Simplemente amigos', 'Quien como tu' and 'Ay amor'. Ana Gabriel has released more than 30 albums and has more than 20 hits in the Top 10 of Billboard's Hot Latin Songs, including six No. 1 hits with iconic songs like 'Quien como tu' and 'Simplemente amigos'.
