Protesters from Thailand’s southern Songkhla Province (Chana Rakthin Network) March from The United Nations to Government House to demand that the Thai government halt the development of an industrial zone in Songkhla and follow through with their promise of environmental impact assessment before continuing construction on December 13, 2021.

1. Let all government agencies slow down all actions related to the Chana Industrial Estate project. By waiting to hear the results of the SEA (Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment) assessment first.
2. Let the Southern Border Area Strategic Development Committee (CAAT) as the main host Academics, experts and people in the public sector were also invited to participate in the study.
3. Accept the proposal of the Chanarakthin network. that specifies the details of how to proceed with SEA (Protocol on Strategic Environmental Assessment) for further consideration.
