The Indian mainland is here to witness a drastic climate change phenomenon - The Yamuna pollution.The firm faith and religious belief of the Indian people can be judged from the fact that they are standing in the blackish-foamy -polluted-freezing cold waters of the holy Yamuna river during the Chhath Pooja Celebrations( for the Sun God)
The Chhath Puja celebrations are held in the northern parts of the India mostly Bihar, eastern UP and Jharkhand. It is one of the biggest festivals and the prayers are mostly dedicated to the sole creator of our planet-the sun.
