NYC: de Blasio presents Pedestrian Plan by Gabriele Holtermann-Gorden
New York City Mayor Bill deBlasio announced the DOT's new Borough Pedestrian Safety Plans. The plans entail the next round of safety measures which intend to make New York City safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. In an open Q&A de Blasio also still didn't rule out running for President.
Using the newest crash data, the focus is going to be on areas with the highest numbers of fatalities and accident. The plans include adjusting signal timing and adding exclusive pedestrian crossing times.
