NYC: Man fatally struck at L train subway line by Erik McGregor
A man was fatally struck in the Manhattan bound L train line on January 16, 2018; causing the L train was shut down between Eighth Avenue in Manhattan and Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn for about an hour, according to the MTA. The victim was pronounced dead at the Sixth Avenue L train station in Manhattan around 1:15 p.m., police said. Full service on the L train was restored before 3 p.m., per the MTA.
