Palestine: Nablus supports prisoner's hunger strik par Yunjie Liao
In support of the open-ended hunger strike of over 1000 Palestinian prisoners kept in Israeli jails, shops and markets were closed for this entire Thursday in Nablus, a city in northern West Bank. Politicians, celebrities and more than four thousands of citizens participated in the event of speeches and concerts in city center. A fight was also evolved during the occasion. In Al Qasaba, or Old City, vendors were locked and streets were empty, making it children’s playground.
