NY: State Gov. Cuomo signs Child Victims Act by Albin Lohr-Jones
New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the Child Victims Act in the offices of the NY Daily News at 4 New York Plaza. The new law affects statue of limitations on sexual assault crimes, allowing victims to file civil suits until they are 55 years old or seek felony charges until their 28th birthday.
