Two rebels, one civilian and an Indian police officer were killed during encounter in Srinagar, Indian Administered Kashmir on 17 October 2018. The rebels were identified as the top Lashkar-e-Toiba fighter Mehraj Bangroo and his associate Fahad Waza. Meanwhile, authorities imposed curfew in the district and blocked the internet services to thwart any protests.
