Spain: CNMV bans Liberbank short shares by Jorge Sanz
The National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Spain’s stock market regulator,
bans the short selling shares in Spanish bank Liberbank, one of the country’s weakest lenders, until November 30 2017, due to the capital increase of 500 million euro ($597 million), announced by bank last week.
