Kolkata is one of the most famous and well known cities in India but not the entire Kolkata is famous. Pramod Nagar is one of those notorious places of Kolkata. Pramod Nagar is basically a dump yard. The story is based on this dump yard. More specifically the story is about a small boy whose name is Noor. Noor is a seven years old boy. Though it’s the age of his education and playing but he will not get to play and education is far away from him as the stars are form earth. Any other boy of his age is surely a student but not Noor, to others he is just a labour, or rather categorise as child labour.
Child labour has been an international concern because it damages, spoils and destroys the future of children. The problem of child labour is a serious matter not only in India but also in other developing countries. It is great social problem. Children are the hope and future of a nation. Yet, there are millions deprived children in our country who have never known a normal, carefree childhood. Although it is one of the pettiest things in life but nothing to do, it’s his fate. No hopes are alive here; he is destine to do that as because of he is from a poor humble family.
