Indonesia: Closure of 7 Eleven stores by Tubagus Aditya Irawan
One of 7 Eleven convenience stores closed in Depok, West Java. The management of PT Modern International officially announced the closure of almost 7 Eleven convenience stores operated by its subsidiary PT Modern Sevel Indonesia at the end of June 2017. The closing of the outlet was due to the company's continued losses since 2015, which caused the limited resources owned by the company to support the 7-Eleven outlet operations. The situation was worsened after the material transaction plan for the sale and transfer of the restaurant and convenience store segment by PT Charoen Phokphand Restu Indonesia was canceled.
