The landslide occurred in Empang Village, South Bogor District, Bogor City, hitting 5 houses with 13 people in them. Of the 7 people who were evacuated, 4 people are still being searched, and as many as 2 of them died. The houses that were buried by landslides, are between the cliffs of the railroad tracks. The landslide was caused by heavy rain which flushed Bogor City for 4 hours at night.
