From October 17 to 26, 2025, the Rome Film Fest celebrated its milestone 20th edition at Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica. Marking two decades of cinema, the festival paid tribute to Italian film legends Pier Paolo Pasolini, special effects maestro Carlo Rambaldi, and photographer Franco Pinna — the latter’s iconic image from Fellini’s Juliet of the Spirits became this year's official poster. The event rolled out one of the world’s largest red carpets, welcoming A-list stars and filmmakers like Jennifer Lawrence, Matilda De Angelis, James McAvoy, and Christoph Waltz.
