Huntsman spiders (Heteropoda venatoria) are a species of spider in the family Sparassidae. The spiders are known by this name because of their speed and mode of hunting. It is native to the tropical regions of the world. Its common names include giant crab spider or cane spider. A female Huntsman spider hunted a big beetle at late night in a house at Tehatta.
