Indonesia: Pancasila Birthday Ceremony at Kartini Emergency School by Kuncoro Widyo Rumpoko
A number of students take part in a flag ceremony wearing traditional clothes from various regions to commemorate the Birthday of Pancasila, at the Kartini Emergency School, under the Ancol Toll Road, Jakarta, Indonesia. The Kartini Emergency School is managed by twin brothers Rossy and Ryan, accommodating underprivileged students from various groups without being charged a penny. Even though their school is located on the outskirts of under the toll road and train tracks, the enthusiasm of the children involved in the series of events was full of meaning in their traditional clothes. The birthday of Pancasila is celebrated nationally every June 1. Pancasila is the basis of the Indonesian state which is the foundation of the founding of the Indonesian state.
