Rajasthan Govt launches Indira Kitchen Scheme by Sumit Saraswat
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launches Indira Rasoi Yojana (kitchen scheme) on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in Jaipur. Under the scheme, government started 358 Kitchens in 213 cities of state, where Lunch and Dinner available for just Rs 8. Three years ago, in December 2016, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje had launched ‘Annapurna Rasoi Yojana’, a meal scheme offering breakfast & lunch for Rs 5 & Rs 8 respectively on the lines of Amma Canteens of Tamil Nadu.
