Faith leaders issue moral indictment against Trump by Michael Nigro
Interfaith religious leaders joined the Poor People’s Campaign in Washington, DC on June 12, 2019, and attempted to march to the White Houseadvocating for basic human dignity and to deliver a petition bearing moral messages. Secret Service closed the street and told hundreds of clergy that it would be a felony if they set foot on Pennsylvania Avenue. The group taped the messages to the barriers.
