Philippines: College course to address extremism

Mindanao State University (MSU) is discussing the 3-unit Fundamentals of Peace Development course which will be added to the curriculum of college students at MSU next school year to address the threats of future extremism. MSU is one of leading institution in producing top graduates and renowned for its excellence and promoting cultural integration in the Philippines. MSU has 11 campus in Mindanao with 70,000 college students mostly Muslim.
