Chuhar Nag is a beautiful valley situated above Margan top of District Anantnag in south Kashmir about 165 km from south of Srinagar, the summer capital of Kashmir at an altitude of 15000 feet. The valley comprises of attractive meadows and very big and beautiful springs surrounded by rocky- mountains. “Chohar Nag” in Kashmiri epithet means four springs.
