In response to Trump's national emergency declaration to build a wall along the Southern border of the United States, a few hundred activists gathered in a couple of locations in New York City rejecting his claim of a national emergency. 15 protesters were arrested by the NYPD after staging a peaceful sit-in in front of Trump Hotel and Tower in Columbus Circle.
