The incorrupt heart of catholic saint Pio of Pietrelcina draws thousands of Catholics while on display at the Manila Cathedral. The visit to the Manila Cathedral is a part of the bigger tour of the Philippines of the Sacred Relic of the saint. Padre Pio who is famous for having recieved and endued the stigmata or the manifestation of the wounds of Christ for the greater part of his adult life, was exhumed in 2009, 40 years after his death, and was found to be incorupt despite not being embalmed. His relic is on display for veneration at the Cathedral until today, October 10 after which it will be broungt to Cebu, Davao, Lipa and finally Batangas before leaving the Philippines on the 26th of October.
